- Sending Non-Marketing Emails
Prospects with a mailability status of Operational Emails Only aren’t eligible to receive marketing emails from Account Engagement. However, if an admin enables operational email sending, these prospects can still receive emails that are considered critical, such as order confirmations or legal notifications. Operational emails can be sent as list emails and through Engagement Studio. They can’t be sent using automation rules. - Copy a Sent List Email
In Account Engagement, you can copy sent classic list emails and send them to new recipients. When you copy a list email, everything is copied to the new email, except the initial delivery date. The copy email option is available for any sent classic email that includes the Email Preference Center merge field. You can’t copy operational emails that don’t include this merge field. - Provide an Online Version of an Email
Use the View Online link to provide an online version of your email that your recipients can view in their browser. - Reschedule a List Email
You can change the scheduled send date on list emails before they’re sent. - Pause a List Email Send
You can pause a queued list email send. - Metrics Guard for Account Engagement
Metrics Guard for Account Engagement is built-in protection for your email activity data. This feature works behind the scenes to filter out most email security scanner clicks and opens without blocking legitimate visitor activity. - Tracking Email Opens
Email open tracking is handled by an invisible, single-pixel image that Account Engagement inserts into HTML emails. When a recipient opens the email, the image loads, and it’s counted as an HTML open. Open rates are difficult to measure accurately because some email clients turn off image loading. - Email Link Tracking
Account Engagement uses your tracker subdomains to rewrite and uniquely track link clicks in emails. Some links aren't rewritten, based on where they come from or how they're formatted, and can’t be tracked. - Handling Email Replies
When sending an email, you can designate a sender and a Reply To email address. Selecting a Reply To address affects where replies to emails are sent. - Set Up a Confirmed Opt-In Process in Account Engagement
This process ensures that someone didn’t mistype the email address or fraudulently subscribe on behalf of someone else. To verify that an opt-in request is coming from the owner of the email address, set up a confirmed opt-in process. After setup is complete, new subscribers are added to an unconfirmed opt-in list and receive an email with a link asking them to verify that they opted in. When they click the link, they’re added to a confirmed opt-in list and directed to a landing page confirming their subscription. - Email Preference Pages
Prospects can use an email preference center page to manage the public lists that they’re subscribed to. An email preference page is provided by default or you can create custom pages. - Manage Email Unsubscribe Settings
Your business unit includes a customizable email unsubscribe page. You can control the settings, messages, and buttons that recipients see when they unsubscribe. - When Prospects Can Receive an Email Template More Than One Time
Most of the time, it’s possible for a prospect to receive the same email template more than one time. There are a few scenarios in which we prevent prospects from receiving the same email template again.
