Important We recommend that you test only one variable at a time. When you have
more than one difference between the two versions, it’s difficult to determine what made the
winner effective.
Open a draft email.
On the Building tab, click Basic Info.
Select Enable A/B Testing.
Use the A and B tabs to switch between the two versions of your email and make
changes.
If you’re testing two subject lines or different reply-to addresses, keep the content of
the two versions the same and move to the Sending tab.
On the Sending tab, configure your send settings.
Select your recipient and suppression lists.
Select a sender and a custom reply-to address for each version.
Enter a subject line for each version.
Set a duration for your A/B test, select engagement criteria, and choose the percentage
of your audience that you want to test.
Add completion actions for your email. Completion actions apply to version A, version B,
and the winning version of the email.
Schedule your test, or click Send Now to begin the test
immediately. The winning email is sent when the test period ends.
After you schedule or send an A/B test email, it appears on the A/B Tests tab.
