System Resources
As with all email sending providers, Account Engagement can send a fixed number of emails
per hour. In general, the amount of time it takes to send an email is directly related to
the number of recipients on the distribution list. Emails with more than 1 MB of text
content can take more time to process and send. Images and variable tags don’t affect
performance.
Best Practices for Email Marketing
Using email marketing wisely helps
deliver great performance, even when your distribution lists have many prospects.
Choose the Best Order for Email Sends
Account Engagement sends emails in the order they’re scheduled. Collaborate with your
team and decide the best order for scheduling the emails, including A/B testing emails
and campaign emails. Consider that automation rules and engagement programs can also
send emails.
Consider Smaller Distribution Lists
If you can, create and use smaller distribution lists. These emails are sent more
quickly.
Schedule Large Email Sends Early
It takes time to prepare and send an email, and the amount of time it takes is related
to the number of recipients. We recommend that you schedule large email sends a little
earlier than you want them to be delivered. For example, let's say that you have a
distribution list of with more than ten thousand recipients. We recommend that you set
up the email send a couple of hours before the scheduled send time.
