Use Predefined Values in Custom Fields

Relabel values in custom fields and assign profiles, and add prospects to lists based on the value prospects choose.

          Required Editions

          User Permissions Needed
To create and edit custom fields: Account Engagement Administrator role
          1. While editing a custom field, select Use predefined values (for checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, and multi-select).
          2. (Optional) Select a value from the Prefill with dropdown.
          3. In the Values section, add and remove the field’s values. Use the advanced options to further customize your field.
            1. Use the A icon to relabel the value. The prospect sees the label, but the original value is recorded on the prospect’s record.
            2. Use the grid icon to apply a profile to the prospect when the prospect selects the field value.
            3. Use the list icon to add the prospect to a list when the prospect selects the field value.
          4. Save the field when finished.

To use your custom field’s predefined values in forms, edit your field in the form, then click Load Default Data.
