- Create Custom Prospect Fields
When the default fields in Account Engagement don’t capture the prospect data you need, create your own custom fields. You can map and sync your custom fields with the CRM. - Use Predefined Values in Custom Fields
Relabel values in custom fields and assign profiles, and add prospects to lists based on the value prospects choose. - Edit Form Fields
Tailor prospect fields on individual forms. For example, customize a form’s field labels for a seasonal campaign, or change the values in a dropdown for a specific use. - Form Field Options
Several configuration options are available when editing fields in a form. - Edit Global Field Settings
An Account Engagement admin can edit a field’s default settings. For example, you can change a field’s type from radio button to checkbox to set it as the default for all new forms. - Default Prospect Field Character Limits
Default prospect fields use character limits, measured in bytes. Most simple letters use one byte each, but more complex pictographs use more bytes per character. As such, the number of characters doesn’t always match the number of bytes used, but can be a helpful guideline. - Prospect Field Global Settings
Admins can control the default behavior of default and custom prospect fields in Account Engagement. - Prospect Field Types
The field type defines the kind of data a field captures. Several field types are available in Account Engagement. - Validate Email Addresses on Form Submissions
To prevent prospects from submitting forms with invalid email addresses, set up email validation on a per-form basis. - Set Up Dependent Form Fields
A dependent field appears based on a value entered in another field on the form. You can create a dependent field based on any text or dropdown field. For example, you can make the State field dependent on the Country field. When a prospect selects USA for the country, the form displays the State field. - Gather Prospect Data Over Time
Keep your forms short to drive a higher conversion rate by gathering more prospect information over time. Progressive profiling displays fields based on fields that a prospect completed on previous forms.
