          Scoring Prospects

          Scoring Prospects

When a visitor converts to a prospect, the prospect is given a score. Prospect scores changes over time as they interact with your marketing assets. Use scoring to measure a prospect’s intent and interest.

          • Default Scoring System
Prospects are scored when they convert, and their scores change based on their behavior. Account Engagement provides a scoring system that you can customize.
          • Customize Scoring Rules
The default scoring rules that come with Account Engagement are editable. Modify the rules to suit your business needs, based on your company’s definition of what a marketing qualified lead looks like.
          • Scoring Categories
Use scoring categories to score prospects on more than one product or business unit. Assign a scoring category to a folder. When prospects interact with assets in that folder, Account Engagement creates a separate prospect score for the category.
