To edit scoring rules: Account Engagement Administrator role

When you edit scoring rules, the system rescores all prospects based on all applicable prospect activity. Keep these considerations in mind when editing scoring rules.

          • Rescoring causes prospects to resync with the CRM and can affect score-based automations.
          • If you have an automation rule action that resets a prospect’s score, the system stores the value difference. When prospects are rescored after editing scoring rules, it’s possible for a prospect’s score to be negative.
          1. Open the Scoring page.
            • In Account Engagement, select Admin and then Scoring.
            • In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings and then Automation Settings | Scoring.
          2. Click Edit Scoring Rules.
          3. Select the rule you want to change, and enter a point value. To deduct points, use a negative number.
          4. Save your changes.

Rescoring takes place in the background. You receive an email notification when the job is finished.
