          Prospect Account Considerations

          When using prospect accounts in Account Engagement, keep these considerations in mind.

          • When you have a Salesforce connector, prospect account fields are read-only in Account Engagement. Manage prospect accounts in Salesforce.
          • For an account record to sync, it must be linked to a prospect record that is syncing with a Salesforce contact.
          • Account updates sync to Account Engagement separately from the prospect sync process.
          • When a prospect is associated with an account in Salesforce, the value for the company field comes from the account. Account Engagement can’t override this field value, regardless of the field’s sync behavior.
          • You can use an account’s assigned user as the from address in list emails.
          • Default account fields that are blank in Salesforce don’t appear on the account record in Account Engagement.
          • Default account fields are mapped between automatically. Manually map custom account fields that you create.
          • You can use account fields in automation and segmentation rules.
