          Considerations for Prospect Resubscribe

          When a prospect resubscribes to receive emails, some record field settings change. Review these considerations before enabling prospects to resubscribe in Account Engagement.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Account Engagement Editions
          • Only prospects with a tracking cookie stored in Account Engagement receive the resubscribe prompt.
          • When a prospect unsubscribes, the Opted Out field is set to True on the next sync.
          • When the prospect resubscribes, the Opted Out field is set to False.
          • When a prospect resubscribes, the Opted Out field is the only mailability field that changes. Resubscribing doesn’t reset previous email bounces, and the Do Not Email field isn’t affected by a prospect opting out or resubscribing.
          • Resubscribe emails are sent only one time per hour regardless of how many times a prospect clicks the resubscribe link.
