          Prevent a Prospect from Syncing with Salesforce

          You have a few options for keeping a prospect from syncing with Salesforce.

          If Salesforce doesn’t have a record with the same email address as the prospect record, don’t assign the prospect in Account Engagement. Unassigned prospects don’t sync when there isn’t a matching record in Salesforce.

          To stop prospect records from syncing with Salesforce records that have a matching email address, disable CRM syncing. To disable CRM syncing for an individual prospect, navigate to the prospect’s record and click Disable CRM Syncing. To disable CRM syncing for multiple prospects, set up an automation rule that targets the prospects, and select the Do not sync with CRM action.

          Disabling syncing sets the prospect’s CRM lead or contact ID to [[crm_ignore_prospect]]. Prospects with disabled CRM syncing have a gray exclamation icon next to their name on the prospect record.
