          Enable Person Account Syncing

          To sync prospects to person accounts instead of leads, enable a setting on the Salesforce connector.

          Required Editions

          Available in: All Account Engagement Editions
          User Permissions Needed
          To enable Person Account Syncing: Account Engagement Administrator role

          Before you can enable syncing with person accounts, your Salesforce connector must be verified and Person Accounts must be enabled in Salesforce.

          Warning
          Warning This change is irreversible. After Person Account Syncing is enabled, it can’t be disabled.
          1. Open the Salesforce Connector page.
            • In Account Engagement, select Admin and then select Connectors. Click gear icon next to the Salesforce Connector, and select Edit.
            • In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings and then Connectors. Click gear icon next to the Salesforce connector, and select Edit Settings.
          2. Select Sync Prospects with Person Accounts.
          3. Review the prompt, then click Enable.
          4. Save your changes.

          Add Account Engagement data fields to your Person Account page layouts. If you don’t use leads in Salesforce, or if you want to sync prospects to person accounts instead of leads, enable Create Person Accounts Instead of Leads.
