          Note

A Sandbox for Account Engagement is a business unit that’s provisioned from a Salesforce sandbox. When using an Account Engagement sandbox, keep these guidelines in mind.

          • Data and configurations can’t be shared between sandboxes and production. Changes must be manually recreated.
          • A sandbox is supported differently than production, so performance is sometimes slower.
          • An Account Engagement sandbox can’t be moved to a different Salesforce sandbox.
          • These sandboxes don't support the Data Cloud Connector, B2B Marketing Analytics, Engagement History dashboards, the Google Ads connector, Salesforce Engage, or email sends, previews, or tests.
          • Refreshing a Salesforce sandbox deletes the associated Sandbox for Account Engagement.
          • If your Salesforce sandbox was created before you purchased Account Engagement, you must refresh your sandbox before you can create a business unit. Review considerations for managing multiple business units.
          1. Log in to a Salesforce sandbox.
          2. Verify that the Account Engagement Integration User permission set is assigned to the B2BMA Integration User.
          3. Create a business unit.
            1. From Marketing Setup, select Account Engagement Setup.
            2. Enter a name for the business unit.
            3. Choose an admin for the business unit and save your work.
The admin is responsible for activating the business unit and adding users, and can be changed.

After you save the business unit, the admin receives a welcome email to guide them through the activation process. After activation, the admin can choose a new admin to manage the Sandbox.

          Note
Note Sandboxes without login activity for 150 days can be deleted. We notify you before a sandbox and its data are scheduled for deletion.
