Salesforce User Sync includes a Map Salesforce Profiles to Account Engagement Roles
table on the User Sync tab Account Engagement Settings. An Account Engagement admin can use the
table to remap these roles at any time.
Required Editions
User Permissions Needed
To edit Salesforce User Sync mappings:
Account Engagement Administrator role
Open the Connectors page.
In Account Engagement, select Admin and then select
Connectors.
In the Lightning app, select Account Engagement Settings
and then Connectors.
Click next to the
Salesforce connector, and then select Edit Settings.
Find the User Sync section.
In the Lightning app, click the User Sync tab.
In Account Engagement, scroll to Salesforce User Sync.
Use the dropdowns to map Salesforce profiles to Account Engagement roles.
Save your work.
When you update a profile’s mapping, all assigned Account Engagement users with the Salesforce
profile are given the new role within 10 minutes. If you have tens of thousands of users, the
sync can take up to an hour.
