Setting Up a Salesforce Connector for Business Units Purchased After February 11, 2019

For business units purchased after February 11, 2019, only a Salesforce admin can install and enable Account Engagement. To complete setup, the Salesforce admin appoints an Account Engagement admin who can configure Account Engagement. These admins can be different users. Review prerequisites before you begin.

          Tip
Tip For easier navigation, download the PDF version of these instructions.
          • Before starting, the Salesforce admin must give permissions to the Account Engagement admin user that allow access to Account Engagement Lightning App. The Account Engagement admin configures the app from there. See Account Engagement in Lightning Experience.
          • After Account Engagement is enabled, the new admin is sent an email with the next steps. It usually takes a few minutes to receive the email.
