Sales Emails and Alerts: Alerts
Sales Emails and Alerts offers real-time services that inform you about prospect activity. Match prospects based on criteria, and display them in a card-based view. Some basic filters come predefined. However, you can create your own filters to display the most relevant prospects.
Alerts
To access Alerts, click the Engage Alerts tab in Salesforce, or open the desktop app.
Alerts are supported in these browsers.
- Internet Explorer 11+
- Microsoft Edge
- Latest stable version of Chrome
- Latest stable version of Safari
- Latest stable version of Firefox
Alerts have two main components: columns (filters) and engagement activity.
Use columns to define your own criteria and populate a list of matching prospects. You can filter prospects based on activities and location. For example, you’re interested in what kinds of marketing materials prospects have interacted with, or what territory they are in. You can view, add, edit, and delete columns from within Alerts. Columns show up to 100 prospect activities from the last four days.
Prospect engagement activity appears in columns as cards, grouped by prospect. The cards show the prospect’s most recent activities. The most recently active prospects are at the top of the column. Cards show the last seven days of activity. Click a card to get more information about the visitor’s activities.
Cards show only the activities that occurred after the prospect is assigned to the current user. No activities appear for archived prospects.
Engage for the Salesforce Mobile App
To access Engage, open the Salesforce mobile app, and tap Engage.
Engage has three main components: Filters, marketing actions, and Add to Nurture list.
Use filters to define your own criteria and populate a list of matching prospects. You can filter prospects based on activities and location. For example, you’re interested in what kinds of marketing materials prospects have interacted with, or what territory they are in. You can view, add, edit, and delete columns from within Engage. Columns show up to 100 prospect activities from the last four days.
Prospect marketing actions appear as cards. The cards show the prospect’s most recent activities. See more activities in the Related tab of a lead or contact record.
Cards show only the activities that occurred after the prospect is assigned to the current user. No activities appear for archived prospects.
Add leads and contacts to lists from Salesforce with the Add to Nurture feature. Tap the three-dot menu on a lead or contact record, and tap Add to Nurture List.
- Install Engage Alerts Desktop
Engage Alerts Desktop lets users get real-time lead and contact activity notifications right from their desktop. It works exactly like Sales Emails and Alerts in browsers, with the benefit of pop-up notifications. - Sales Emails and Alerts Filter Criteria
You can define your own criteria to get a targeted list of prospects in real time. The criteria is based on prospect attributes that you’re interested in, such as what kinds of marketing materials they have interacted with, or what territory they are in.
