After you create a snippet, you can edit it at any time and the changes appear wherever
it’s used. You can also change which campaign a snippet is assigned to. Use the merge field picker
to choose and place the snippet you need in the marketing asset you’re working with.
Required Editions
Campaign Snippets are available in: Salesforce Professional, Enterprise,
Performance, and Unlimited Editions with any Account Engagement
Edition
Business Snippets are available in Salesforce Professional, Enterprise,
Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Account EngagementGrowth,
Plus, Advanced, and Premium Editions
User Permissions Needed
To create, edit, and place snippets:
Account Engagement User, CRM User, Sales Cloud User, or Service Cloud User permission
set
AND
Account Engagement, CRM User, Sales User, or Service User permission set
license
Note To ensure proper syncing, assign a permission set license or permission set for all
Snippets users, including the connector user.
Snippets are available in three places: the Snippets tab, the Snippets page in the Content
tab, and the Snippet Assignment related list on an associated campaign. Each time you create a
snippet, it appears on the Snippets tab where it can be edited or deleted.
On the Snippets tab, click + New Snippet.
Name your snippet, enter a value, and then save it.
On the snippet record, click Related and then, click
New.
In the Assignment field, choose whether to scope your snippet to Business
Units or Campaigns.
Select the business unit or campaign you want, and click Save.
Enter values for Snippet Name and API Name.
The API name must be unique to the assignment and can’t be changed.
Enter the snippet content in the Value field.
Save the snippet.
