Delete a Snippet
If you’re done with a snippet and know that you don’t need it anymore, you can delete the snippet record or just its assignment. Don’t forget to remove the snippet tag from any assets that use it.

| To delete a snippet assignment or snippet record: | Account Engagement User, CRM User, Sales Cloud User, or Service Cloud User permission set AND Account Engagement, CRM User, Sales User, or Service User permission set license |
To delete an entire snippet record, including all of its assignments, open the snippet from the Snippets tab and delete it.
To delete a snippet’s relationship to a campaign, but keep the snippet record and its content, follow these steps.
next to the
snippet you want to unassign, and select Remove.
When you delete an assignment, the snippet no longer appears in the merge field picker for that campaign’s content.
