Reuse your content with Snippets to streamline how you create recurring marketing
assets for your campaigns and business as a whole. A snippet works across assets
related to a campaign, and can contain helpful strings like dates, links, images,
and logos. Snippets can be reused in emails, email templates, forms, and landing
pages.

Choose from two kinds of snippets: campaign snippets and business snippets.
Campaign snippets work only with connected campaigns. Assign a snippet to a
specific campaign to use it in that campaign’s related assets. Business
snippets can be used throughout your account or business unit.
For both kinds of snippets, when the value of a snippet changes, you only have to
edit the snippet record. The changes are inherited where the snippet is
used.
Example Your company offers a monthly webinar series that includes three weekly
sessions. Your marketing team sends several targeted emails to remind people
about the events. Create snippets for the event name, description, start
date and time, and other important details and then place them into your
webinar promotion email templates. Each month, your marketer can update the
snippet content only and then test emails to make sure that everything looks
good.
Enable Snippets Before you can use a snippet in an asset, prepare your Salesforce org for the feature and create some snippets. Make sure that the necessary users have access to the Snippets tab and the right related lists.
Create and Manage Snippets After you create a snippet, you can edit it at any time and the changes appear wherever it’s used. You can also change which campaign a snippet is assigned to. Use the merge field picker to choose and place the snippet you need in the marketing asset you’re working with.
Delete a Snippet If you’re done with a snippet and know that you don’t need it anymore, you can delete the snippet record or just its assignment. Don’t forget to remove the snippet tag from any assets that use it.
