Although snippets are available in a few different places, you add them to your content from the merge field picker. To get started, open the asset you want to work with, and navigate to its editor screen. Where you can add snippets depends on the asset type you’re working with.

          • Email and Email Template: Editable sections with text in the Building tab.
          • Form: Above Form and Below Form sections in the Look and Feel tab, and Thank You Content in the Completion Actions tab.
          • Landing Page: In text fields in templates without Pardot Regions. If you use Pardot Regions, you can use snippets in Basic, Pardot, and Default regions.

After you choose an asset and open its editing tab, you’re ready to add a snippet.

          1. In the editor toolbar, select the Merge Field dropdown, and then select Snippets.
          2. Select the snippet you want to include.
          3. In the editor, make sure that you place the snippet tag where you want the snippet to appear.
          4. Save your changes.

Test and preview the asset to make sure that the snippet content appears as expected. To verify your snippets in forms and landing pages, make sure that you choose View online.
