Use groups for round-robin lead assignment. When you assign a prospect to a group, the prospect is assigned to a group member, equally distributing leads.

          Required Editions

Available in: All Account Engagement Editions
          User Permissions Needed
To create a user group: Account Engagement Administrator, Marketing, or Sales Manager role
          1. Select Admin (Account Engagement Settings in the Lightning app), and then User Management | Groups.
          2. Click + Add User Group.
          3. Name the group.
          4. Click Create Group.

Add a user to the group from the user’s record, or add users in bulk from the user table at Admin | Users.

The order in which prospects are assigned to users depends on a few factors.

          • If users have assigned prospects, a new assignment is given to the user with the least recent lead assignment.
          • If users have no assigned prospects, a new assignment is given to the user whose account was created first.
