When a prospect is deleted, the record is moved to the recycle bin. From the recycle bin,
you can either permanently delete or restore the prospect. Certain activities that either you or
the system initiates can also restore a prospect.

Restore a deleted prospect record manually by clicking Undelete. To
undelete a prospect record with a matching CRM ID or email address during import, select
Undelete matching prospects found in the recycle bin during this
import.
These situations undelete prospects.
If your account does not allow multiple prospects with the
same email address, and you manually add a prospect with the same email address as a deleted prospect.
If your account does not allow multiple prospects with the
same email address, and a deleted prospect submits a form with the same email address.
If your account allows multiple prospects with the
same email address and a visitor cookied as a deleted prospect submits a form, the prospect is undeleted. If
the visitor’s cookie doesn’t match a deleted prospect, then the activity is attributed to
the most recently active prospect with the same email address.
