Prepare Data for Your Agent

Establish the single source of truth for agent-powered experiences by consolidating business-critical data into Salesforce Data 360 DMOs or data libraries. Data 360 transforms disparate information from multiple source systems into standardized, enriched data models with consistent field mappings, hierarchical relationships, and real-time sync. This consolidated repository eliminates data silos and provides the structured foundation needed for AI-powered experiences.

To set up a web or mobile app connection: Data Cloud Architect
To create a search index configuration: Data Cloud Architect

Before you begin,

  • Enable Data 360 in your Salesforce org.
  • Identify the DMOs or data libraries that align with your agent's purpose (for example, customer profiles, product catalogs, or knowledge articles).
  1. Use a connector to ingest data from your website into Data 360.
  2. Create a search index.

    Search indexes enable Agentforce agents to perform fast, intelligent retrieval of unified data from DMOs.
