Engagement Signals

An engagement signal is a set of data that provides information about an engagement action performed by an individual. Examples of engagement signals include web clicks, opening or responding to an email response, or downloading a PDF.

  Salesforce Personalization provides several standard engagement DMOs that you can use when creating engagement signals. Use these examples to recreate engagement signals to track individual engagement with your personalizations, or use them to familiarize yourself with how to construct your own engagement signals.
• Configure an Engagement Signal
  Engagement signals are configured using a primary engagement data model object (DMO). You then use mapped DMO fields to identify and track individual engagements.
