Assigning Permissions to Admins and Users
To set up Salesforce Personalization, you work in Salesforce Setup, Data 360 Setup, and the Data 360 and Salesforce Personalization apps. Before you begin, make sure you and other admins on your team have the necessary roles and permissions.
For users who create personalization experiences, we recommend creating a permission set that contains the permissions listed in the standard . Additional permissions can be added individually or to a permission set, based on a user’s business needs. You can also create permission sets for users who create content or analyze reporting data.
Using Standard Permission Sets
Streamline Salesforce Personalization user permission setup using predefined, standard permission sets. You can choose permissions for either the Personalization Admin or Personalization User roles.

Update the Data 360 Connector Permissions
Configure the Data 360 permission set with the appropriate Salesforce Personalization access and permissions. For detailed steps, see Update the Data 360 Connector Permissions.
