Upload an Event Schema
When you set up a website connector to send event data to Data 360, you must upload a schema file in JSON format that outlines the structure of the event data that you’re tracking.
We suggest using the recommended schema, but you can choose to upload your own custom schema. After the schema is available, each interaction type appears as an object with corresponding attributes.
- Download the recommended schema file or use your own custom schema file.
- Open Data Cloud Setup.
- Search and select Websites & Mobile Apps.
- Open the connection for which you want to upload a schema and find the Schema section
- Click Upload Schema.
- After confirming that all events and their associated fields are populated correctly, save your work.
After you upload the schema, examine it for accuracy.
