What Is Agentforce Supply Chain?
Agentforce Supply Chain is a collaborative workflow management platform that helps teams coordinate and complete complex processes. Create dependency-driven workflows, assign work to internal and external team members, and track progress in real time.
Main capabilities include:
- Building reusable templates for repeatable workflows.
- Creating and managing workflows with multiple stages and tasks.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Tracking workflow progress and status.
- Integrating with other systems and tools.
Key Concepts
Understanding these main concepts helps you get the most out of Agentforce Supply Chain:
- Blueprints
- Reusable templates that define the stages, tasks, and rules for an automated process. You create a blueprint one time and use it to launch workflows.
- Workflows
- A running instance of a blueprint. Each workflow tracks a specific process through to completion with its own data and timeline.
- Tasks
- Individual work items within a workflow. Each task is assigned to people, teams, or AI agents. Assignees can complete tasks in the platform or by email.
- Stages
- Stages are groups of related tasks within a blueprint or workflow. Stages help organize work and can have dependencies, ensuring users complete tasks in the correct order.
For a deeper look at how these concepts relate to each other, see How Blueprints, Workflows, and Tasks Work Together in Agentforce Supply Chain.
