Pause, Resume, or End a Workflow in Agentforce Supply Chain

          License Required

This feature is a workspace that’s external to your Salesforce org and requires an Agentforce Supply Chain license.

To purchase an Agentforce Supply Chain license, contact your Salesforce account executive.

          Pause a Workflow

Temporarily stop a workflow from running. During a paused state, users can still view and comment on tasks in the workflow. However, they can't complete tasks or raise a problem.

          1. In the navigation sidebar, click Home.
          2. Click the name of the workflow that you want to pause.
          3. Click Pause.
          4. Optionally, select whether to notify assignees on in-progress tasks by email of the workflow status change.
          5. Click Pause workflow.
            The workflow pauses.

          Resume a Paused Workflow

          1. In the navigation sidebar, click Home.
          2. Click the name of the workflow that you want to pause.
          3. In the Stages tab, click Resume.
          4. Select whether to shift due dates after the pause.
          5. If needed, enter how many days, weeks, or months later you want tasks to be due.
          6. Click Resume workflow.

          End a Workflow

Permanently stop a workflow from running while preserving its data. If you end a workflow, you restrict any further data processing in the workflow. You can't restart an ended workflow.

          1. In the navigation sidebar, click Home.
          2. Click the name of the workflow that you want to end.
          3. In the Stages tab, click End.
          4. Optionally, select whether to notify assignees on in-progress tasks by email of the workflow status change.
          5. Provide a reason for ending the workflow.
          6. Click End workflow.
            The workflow ends.

          Note
Note The Workflow end reason is visible to anyone with access to view the workflow. The reason shows in a banner across the top of the workflow and in a field called Workflow end reason in the workflow's data tab. The Workflow end reason field can be added as a column on the Home page or used as a filter for a list view. If you export a workflow, the CSV file includes the Workflow end reason column.
