Anatomy of a Flow Approval Process

Combine elements, connectors, and resources to build flow approval processes.

Each element (1, 2) represents an action that the flow approval process can execute. Flow approval processes use Decision and Stage elements.
Each connector (3) defines an available path that the flow approval process can take at run time.
Each stage consists of one or more step resources (4) that can be executed at run time.
Resources (5) like steps, text templates, and variables can be used to configure elements and resources. For example, use a text template as the subject of a custom approver email or use a variable as the value in a decision’s condition statement.
