Automatic Output in Flow Approval Processes

Flow approval processes reference the status of stages and steps and output from referenced flows using automatic output.

Flow Builder allows you to reference all automatic output resources anywhere in your flow approval process. When the flow approval process runs, however, it must process an element or resource before associated automatic output can be referenced. So when creating a flow approval process, make sure to reference automatic output resources only when they can be expected to have assigned values.

Note To allow a flow approval process access to a user-defined output variable in a flow called by a step, mark it as Available for output in the flow.

Note A flow approval process uses the isOrchestrationConditionMet output variable in evaluation flows. All other user-defined output variable values from evaluation flows are discarded.
