Flow Builder allows you to reference all automatic output resources anywhere in your flow approval process. When the flow approval process runs, however, it must process an element or resource before associated automatic output can be referenced. So when creating a flow approval process, make sure to reference automatic output resources only when they can be expected to have assigned values.
| Automatic Output | Run-Time Availability |
|---|---|
| Stage Status | After the stage is in progress |
| Step Status | After the parent stage is in progress |
| Flow Output Variable | After the parent step has been completed |
