Control Email Completion of Flow Approval Processes Approval Work Items
By default, assigned approvers and their delegates receive email notifications when an
approval work item is created or reassigned. When approvers and their delegates receive email
notifications, you can make it possible for them to complete approval work items associated with
Flow Approval Processes approval submissions by replying to their email notifications.
If Send Approval Work Item Assignment Emails to Approvers in Approval Settings is deselected,
approvers and their delegates can’t complete approval work items by using email. See Manage Approval Email Notifications.
You can also stop email notifications for specific flow approval processes. If you select the
advanced setting Don’t send approver notifications for a specific flow approval process,
approvers and their delegates also for approval can’t complete approval work items by using
email. See Control Approver Emails for a Flow Approval Process.
Important The Enable email approval response setting is shared with Classic Approval
Processes. Selecting or deselecting this setting affects whether assigned approvers and
delegates can complete approval work items for both Flow Approval Processes and Classic Approval
Processes.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter process automation, and
then select Process Automation Settings.
Set Enable email approval response according to whether you want to
allow assigned approvers and their delegates to approve or reject Flow Approval Processes
approval work items by email.
To make it possible for assigned approvers and their delegates to approve or reject
Flow Approval Processes approval work items by email, select Enable email approval
response.
To stop assigned approvers and their delegates from approving or rejecting Flow
Approval Processes approval work items by email, deselect Enable email approval
response.
