Defining Screen Component Options With Choice Resources

When you add a selection component to a screen, you populate its options using choice resources. Choice resources give you flexibility in how you present options and what data gets stored when users make selections.

You can also enhance choices with visual elements like icons to help users identify and select options faster. Learn more in Help Users Select Faster by Using Visual Cues in Choices

          • Choosing Which Choice Resource to Use in Screen Components
Choice resources display selectable options in flow screens. Choice resources can appear as radio buttons, checkboxes, or picklist fields. There are several options for choice resources that you can use, depending on your business need. We recommend using a choice resource only when you can’t use a record choice set or a picklist choice set.
