          Create a Broadcast Flow

          Create a Broadcast Flow

Use broadcast flows with dynamic segments to quickly reach large, targeted audiences. For example, notify affected customers about flight delays or reservation changes.

          Required Editions

          1. Navigate to the Flows tab from the Automation app, and click New.
          2. Search for and select Broadcast Flow.
          3. In the Start element, select the dynamic segment that you want to use.
          4. Configure how you want to determine the individual's contact points.
            1. Specify the DMO that contains a reference to the individual you want to use.
            2. Specify either an email value or the DMO that contains the email.
            3. Specify either a phone number value or the DMO that contains the phone number.
            4. Add additional filters.
          5. To run a broadcast flow asynchronously, in the Start element, select Async as the run type. With asynchronous broadcast flows you can add Wait elements to the flow. If an asynchronous broadcast flow is referenced in another flow through a subflow element, the asynchronous broadcast flow starts in a separate transaction while the parent flow continues.
          6. Add an action, like Send to Journey, to send your message out to the individual.
          7. Activate the flow.
