Collapse or Expand Groups
Collapse a group of elements in a flow to hide its elements and simplify the canvas, or expand it to work with the elements inside.

Note You don't need to be an admin to have the Manage Flow permission.
Ask your admin to add it to your profile or permission set.
Whether you collapse or expand a group is a personal preference. Your choice affects only your view of the flow and doesn't change the flow for other users or the way the flow runs.
Collapse a Group
Collapse a group of elements. Collapsing a group hides the elements inside it and shows the group as a single card, which makes a complex flow easier to scan.

Open the Flows list view.
- From the Automation app, select the Flows tab.
- From the Flows tab in any Lightning app, click the actions menu and select Open Flow.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
Note that the Automation app and Flows tab options don't require Setup access. - Click an existing flow to open it, or create a flow by clicking New or New Flow.

On the group's card, click

The group's elements disappear, and the group appears as a single card on the canvas with basic information about the contents.
Expand a Group
Expand a group of elements. Expanding a group shows all of its elements again.

Open the Flows list view.
- From the Automation app, select the Flows tab.
- From the Flows tab in any Lightning app, click the actions menu and select Open Flow.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
