These examples walk you through building screen flows for real-world use cases. Each example includes detailed steps to help you understand how to combine screen components, elements, and resources to create effective flows.

          • Build a Dynamic Sales Pipeline View in a Screen Flow Example
This example shows how you can use the Kanban Board component to organize a collection of records, such as opportunities, into columns for a visual representation of your data.
          • Use an Online Form to Create a Record Example
Create a screen flow that collects information about a new opportunity and then automatically creates an opportunity record. For example, on customer calls, your reps scramble to capture notes about customer interest in new products. They often use sticky notes, which are hard to read or get lost. Create an online form embedded on the case record page so they can quickly capture and confirm basic information. When they submit the form, the screen flow creates a new opportunity on the Account record that’s related to the case.
          • Create a Contact for Each Beneficiary on a Policy Example
Add a Repeater component to a screen, and then add child components to represent a beneficiary on a policy. Loop over the output Repeater component to create a collection of Contact records. Then use the collection to create a Contact record for each beneficiary.
          • Keep Users Informed With a Message Screen Component
Use a screen flow to collect contact and company information, then call an autolaunched flow to create account and contact records. Show a message to the running user about the new records by using a Message screen component. Then send the contact an email.
          • Create Multiple Records with a Repeater Screen Component Example
This example creates screen flows that use Repeater components to collect information for multiple related items and perform bulk actions on that data. Use Repeater components when you need to gather the same type of information for multiple records, such as collecting product information for multiple items. The flow can then automatically create and link related records based on the collected information.
          • Add Records from User Input in Screens Using Repeaters Example
This example uses a screen flow with the Repeater component to gather information from users at run time. You can collect data for multiple items in a group. The Repeater component has one or more child components. The values in these components can be prepopulated on the screen at run time. Users can update, delete, and add values for the group. The changes from the user interaction can be also be committed to Salesforce records.
