          Delete Elements in Auto-Layout

          Delete Elements in Auto-Layout

Remove elements from your flow when they're no longer needed in your automation.

          Required Editions

          View supported editions.

In auto-layout, your changes are automatically saved to your draft flow. To make your changes permanent, save your flow before you close its window in Flow Builder.

Deleting elements removes them from your flow when they're no longer needed. Decision and Wait elements require special consideration when deleting because they can have multiple outcome paths that can contain other elements that you want to keep.

          Note
Note If you want to delete multiple elements, select and delete them one at a time.
          1. Delete a Decision or Wait element.
            1. Click Actions on the element card, and then select Delete Element.
            2. To keep the elements from a Decision outcome or Wait configuration path on the canvas after deletion, in the delete element panel dropdown, select the path that holds the elements to keep.
            3. To delete the Decision or Wait element and all of its paths, in the delete element panel dropdown, select None, delete all paths.
          2. Delete another type of element.
            1. Click Actions on the element card to open the actions menu, and then select Delete Element.
