View Flow Version Analytics
Monitor overall flow version performance with comprehensive analytics showing run statuses, individual progression, and detailed execution data in summary dashboards.
Before viewing flow version analytics, make sure you have the required permissions and setup:
- To view flow version analytics, you need the Marketing Cloud Admin and Marketing Cloud Manager permission sets.
- You must have installed Flow Performance with Data 360 integration. See Set Up Flow Performance.
- You need the Tableau Next Included App Business User permission set or higher-level permissions to access detailed dashboards.
- Flow version analytics data is available only for marketing flow types with Data 360 element-level logging enabled: automation-event triggered, activation-triggered, and segment-triggered flows.
- Flow version analytics data requires Data 360 storage and may impact your credit consumption.
- Flow version analytics data is retained based on your Data 360 data retention settings.
Use flow version analytics to monitor overall flow health and understand how your flow version is performing:
- Monitor flow completion rates: See how many individuals are progressing through your flow vs. getting stuck or encountering errors
- Track run statuses: Understand the distribution of completed, in-progress, stopped, error, and paused flow runs
- Analyze execution patterns: Review detailed element-by-element execution data across all individuals and runs
- Identify performance issues: Spot trends in error rates, processing delays, or bottlenecks affecting multiple users
- Share insights with stakeholders: Provide comprehensive flow performance data to non-technical team members
Version analytics provide a complete overview of all flow activity, combining summary metrics with detailed execution data for comprehensive flow monitoring and optimization.
- Open a flow that has completed runs in Flow Builder.

on the canvas.

Select View Flow Version Run Analytics from the dropdown menu.
This action opens the Performance tab, which shows overview metrics including flow run status distribution (donut chart), individual processing progress (started vs. completed), and total runs count.Note Using this feature consumes Data 360 credits, which can increase your bill. - Review the detailed analytics dashboard for complete flow analysis. The dashboard includes summary metrics plus a comprehensive data table showing every element run for every individual, with columns for person details, element information, run statuses, timestamps, path assignments, and error descriptions.
The version analytics provide a complete view of your flow's performance across all runs and individuals. Use the summary metrics to quickly assess overall flow health, and dive into the detailed data table to investigate specific patterns, errors, or performance issues. The comprehensive execution data helps you understand how individuals progress through your flow and identify opportunities for optimization.
