Activities: Match Email to Records Actions

The Activities: Match Email to Records flow provides several core actions for matching emails to relevant records in your Sales org. To add one of these actions to your flow, make sure that Sync Email as Salesforce Activity is enabled in Einstein Activity Capture. In Flow Builder, add an Action element. Then select Activities: Match Email to Records, and search for the appropriate action.

Available with Einstein Activity Capture Standard in Sales in Starter, Professional, and Enterprise Editions
Available with Unlimited Edition and Einstein 1 Sales Edition
Available with Einstein for Sales, which is included in Einstein 1 Sales Edition, and available for an extra cost in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions.
Available with Sales Engagement in Sales, which is included in Performance and Unlimited Editions, and available for an extra cost in Professional and Enterprise Editions.
Available with Revenue Intelligence, which is available for an extra cost in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions.
Important
Important Activities: Match Email to Records core actions don’t support system-run flows or automated process users. Activities Match: Create Email Activity core actions run in the context of the user, who is also referred to as the context user. The flow has access to whatever the context user has access to.
  • Create Email Activity with Associations Action
    This action creates activity and email message entity records from temporary email records and associates them with specified account, contact, lead, opportunity, and user records. To be used in the Activities: Match Email to Records flow. Requires that Sync Email as Salesforce Activity is enabled in Einstein Activity Capture.
  • Get Account and Opportunity from Email Addresses Action
    This action gets an account record associated with a contact or unmatched email address and also gets an opportunity record related to a contact. To be used in the Activities: Match Email to Records flow. Requires that Sync Email as Salesforce Activity is enabled in Einstein Activity Capture.
  • Get Contacts and Leads from Email Addresses Action
    This action matches email addresses to contact and lead records related to active user records. To be used in the Activities: Match Email to Records flow. Requires that Sync Email as Salesforce Activity is enabled in Einstein Activity Capture.
  • Get Users from Email Addresses Action
    This action gets user records with email addresses that match those addresses in the To, From, or CC address field of a sent email captured by Einstein Activity Capture. To be used in the Activities: Match Email to Records flow. Requires that Sync Email as Salesforce Activity is enabled in Einstein Activity Capture.
