          Flow Builder Elements for Marketing Flows

          A Flow Builder element represents an action that a flow can execute. Examples include decisions based on criteria and creating and deleting Salesforce data. Some Flow Builder elements are available only in Marketing Cloud or Data 360, such as Send Email Message and Send SMS Message.

          Required Editions

          Available in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud Growth or Advanced Edition.
          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.

          In auto-layout, click Add element to display the types of elements that you can add.

          • Create Consent Marketing Flow Element
            The Create Consent action element updates the consent status for the contact point related to a unified individual in a flow. For a specific channel and communication subscription combination, you can set a contact point's consent status to Opt In or Opt Out.
          • Determine CRM Record for Individual Marketing Flow Element
            Use the Determine CRM Record for Individual action element to find out if a person has a contact, lead, or prospect record. You can set up different paths for each situation and customize how you want to approach an individual depending on your existing records. For example, send specific emails based on whether the person is a lead or prospect, or update their contact record with new information.
          • Einstein Decision Marketing Flow Element
            Determine a user’s level of email engagement by using Einstein Engagement Frequency or Einstein Engagement Scoring. You can also route users through the flow based on that engagement level. This element performs the equivalent of an if-then statement.
          • Path Experiment Element
            Experiment with up to 10 different versions of a customer journey to determine the most effective path. The Marketing Cloud Path Experiment element randomly assigns individuals to paths for an unbiased outcome. Use automated path selection for faster optimization. Use manual path selection for added control or if you’re using data from outside Salesforce.
          • Send Email Message Marketing Flow Element
            The Send Email Message action element sends an email from your Salesforce CMS to an audience segment. You can configure the action to track clicks and opens, send messages to your opt-in list only, and get help from Einstein for send-time optimization (STO) and identifying which clicks and opens are real.
          • Send Marketing Cloud Engagement Email Marketing Flow Element
            The Send Marketing Cloud Engagement Email action sends an email with send classifications, publication lists, and content in Marketing Cloud Engagement via segment-triggered, event-triggered, activation-triggered, or broadcast flow. You can configure the action to target Data 360 audience segments using your existing Marketing Cloud Engagement content and settings without requiring segment activation or data replication.
          • Send Mobile App Message Marketing Flow Element
            The Send Mobile App Message action element sends a push notification from your Salesforce CMS to users of your app.
          • Send Flash Message Marketing Flow Element
            The Send Flash Message action element sends a flash notification from your Salesforce CMS to users of your app.
          • Send Mobile In-App Message Marketing Flow Element
            The Send Mobile In-App Message action element sends an in-app message from Salesforce CMS to users of your mobile app.
          • Send SMS Marketing Flow Element
            The Send SMS Message action element sends an SMS message from your Salesforce CMS to an audience segment. You can configure the action to track clicks and opens, send messages to your opt-in list only, and get help from Einstein for send-time optimization (STO) and identifying which clicks and opens are real.
          • Send to Journey Marketing Flow Element
            The Send to Journey action element sends individuals to a specific Marketing Cloud Engagement journey. For example, in a segment-triggered flow, you can send customers to specific journeys depending on each individual’s loyalty program status.
          • Send WhatsApp Message Marketing Flow Element
            The Send WhatsApp Message action element sends a WhatsApp message from your Salesforce CMS to an audience segment. You can configure the action to track clicks and opens, send messages to your opt-in list, and identify which clicks and opens are real.
          • Wait Until Event Element
            Resume a flow interview after an engagement event. Select a standard event, such as Email Link Click or SMS Response, or use a custom engagement signal.
