Determine CRM Record for Individual Marketing Flow Element
Use the Determine CRM Record for Individual action element to find out if a person has
a contact, lead, or prospect record. You can set up different paths for each situation and
customize how you want to approach an individual depending on your existing records. For
example, send specific emails based on whether the person is a lead or prospect, or update their
contact record with new information.

Available in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud
Growth or Advanced Edition.
In a segment-triggered flow, add the Determine CRM Record for Individual action to the flow
canvas. You can configure the action to include paths for whether a contact, lead, or
prospect record is found. You can also configure a path if none of those records are
found.
Note The Determine CRM Record for Individual action is available only for segment-triggered
flows. Wait elements and actions like Send Email and Send SMS are unsupported on paths
directly leading out from the action. You can add waits and actions after all of the paths
meet.
