Send Marketing Cloud Engagement Email Marketing Flow Element
The Send Marketing Cloud Engagement Email action sends an email with send
classifications, publication lists, and content in Marketing Cloud Engagement via
segment-triggered, event-triggered, activation-triggered, or broadcast flow. You can configure
the action to target Data 360 audience segments using your existing Marketing Cloud Engagement
content and settings without requiring segment activation or data replication.

Available in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud
Growth or Advanced Edition.
You select the segment from the campaign record or from the flow’s Start element. You can
customize the contents of the email from the campaign record.

The business unit to use for this email action.
This field lists business
units that allow you to control information access and sharing. Ensure the
business unit is in the same Data Space as the Flow.
Email
The Marketing Cloud Engagement email content to be sent.
Einstein Send Time Optimization
Optional. Einstein Send Time Optimization (STO) determines the best time to
send a message. Using machine learning, Einstein predicts optimal send times so that
a user is more likely to engage with your message. A Salesforce admin must enable
this feature.
Send Classification
The send classification profile to use while sending an email.
Send
classifications define parameters for an email job in a central
location.
Track Clicks
Optional. If enabled, the flow tracks how many times email recipients click
links that are included in your message.
Publication List
The publication list that manages opt-ins and opt-outs for this send.
CC Recipients
The email addresses to receive CC emails.
Map Personalization Data
Optional. Enables you to choose data extension to personalize the
email.
Triggered Send Data Extension
A data extension for personalization.
The data extension used to store and
manage data related to triggered email sends.
Data Extension Fields
Optional. If included, populates data extension fields for Email
Personalization.
Usage
The email is sent based on the schedule configured in the Start element. If there are
multiple Send Marketing Cloud Engagement Email elements separated by Wait elements, the flow
doesn’t send the email until the Wait conditions are met.
