Send to Journey Marketing Flow Element

Send to Journey Marketing Flow Element

The Send to Journey action element sends individuals to a specific Marketing Cloud Engagement journey. For example, in a segment-triggered flow, you can send customers to specific journeys depending on each individual’s loyalty program status.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud Growth or Advanced Edition.
Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.

The available input values are based on the selected journey. If a journey has a status of Paused, records are queued and enter the journey when it's resumed.

          Considerations

The Send to Journey element supports only journeys with a status of Running that use an API event entry source. The Marketing Cloud Engagement business unit that contains the journey must also be linked to the same data space that the flow uses.

The Individual ID from the flow maps to the SubscriberKey in the Marketing Cloud Engagement Data Extension. The contact point email from the flow maps to the default email configured in the journey's specific settings.

          Supported flow types:

          • Segment-triggered flows
          • List-triggered flows
          • Campaign member-triggered flows
          • Record criteria-triggered flows
          • Automation event-triggered flows
          • Activation-triggered flows
          • On-Demand flows
          • Broadcast flows
