Make Assigned Work Items Accessible on an Experience Cloud Site

Add the Orchestration Work Guide component to object detail pages in your Aura and LWR Experience Cloud sites for record types related to interactive steps. Configure the component so that assigned credentialed site visitors can access and complete their work items.

Required Editions

View supported editions for Flow Orchestration.
User Permissions Needed
To create an Experience Cloud site: Create and Set Up Experiences AND View Setup and Configuration
To customize an Experience Cloud site:
  • Be a member of the site AND Create and Set Up Experiences

    OR

  • Be a member of the site AND View Setup and Configuration AND an experience admin, publisher, or builder in that site
To publish an Experience Cloud site:
  • Be a member of the site AND Create and Set Up Experiences

    OR

  • Be a member of the site AND an experience admin or publisher in that site

Your org must have Flow Orchestration enabled.

  1. In Experience Builder, go to the related object detail page.
  2. From the Components panel, drag Flow Orchestration Work Guide onto the page.
    1. (Optional) For Title, enter a name for the component to show credentialed site visitors at run time.
    2. (Optional) For Sort Order, select the default sort order for work items.
    3. (Optional) To show the orchestration run name for each work item, select Show Orchestration Run Name.
    4. (Optional) To show the orchestration stage name for each work item, select Show Orchestration Stage Name.
    5. (Optional) To show the orchestration step name for each work item, select Show Orchestration Step Name.
    6. (Optional) To hide the component when the credentialed site visitor has no assigned work items, select Hide Work Guide When Empty.
    7. (Optional) To open the next work item from the same orchestration run after a credentialed site visitor completes a work item, select Automatically Open Next Work Item.
      The default behavior is that the component shows a refreshed list of work items after a credentialed site visitor completes a work item.
  3. Save your work.

Add the Orchestration Work Item Object List page to your Aura or LWR site and publish your site. Then activate the orchestration.
