Tip
Tip Instead of completing this task manually, get help from Setup with Agentforce. For example, tell the Setup agent, “Remove the Case Management permission set from the Service_Rep permission set group.” For more information, see User Access Management in Setup with Agentforce.

Remove a Single Permission Set from Multiple Permission Set Groups

If you’re removing a permission set from several permission set groups, it’s most efficient to make these updates from the permission set’s summary page.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.
  2. Select a permission set.
  3. Click View Summary.
  4. In the Related Permission Set Groups tab, select the permission set groups, and then click Remove.

Remove Multiple Permission Sets from a Permission Set Group on the Summary Page

If you’re removing multiple permission sets from the same permission set group, you can make this update from the permission set group’s summary page.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Set Groups, and then select Permission Set Groups.
  2. Select a permission set group.
  3. Click View Summary.
  4. In the Included Permission Sets tab, select permission sets, and then click Remove. After the update is complete, the permission set group status changes to Updated.

Remove Multiple Permission Sets from a Permission Set Group on the Detail Page

If you’re removing multiple permission sets from the same permission set group, you can also make this update from the permission set group’s detail page.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Set Groups, and then select Permission Set Groups.
  2. Select a permission set group.
  3. Click Permission Sets in Group.
  4. Select the permission sets that you want to remove from the group.
  5. Click Remove Permission Sets.
  6. To confirm the change, click OK, and then click Done. After the update is complete, the permission set group status changes to Updated.
