          Important
Important Support and updates for Process Builder have ended as of December 31, 2025. This means that support won't be provided for any process and bugs in the Process Builder product won't be fixed. See Workflow Rules & Process Builder End of Support.

After December 31, 2025, existing processes continue to run, and you can activate, deactivate, and edit them; however, we recommend using Flow Builder. To migrate existing processes, plan your switch to Flow Builder and use the Migrate to Flow tool. For new automations, create flows in Flow Builder.

To delete an active process, you must first deactivate it. You can’t delete process versions with an Active status. If another process references your invocable process, you can’t delete the invocable process. If a process has any scheduled actions, it can’t be deleted until those pending actions have been executed or deleted.

          1. In Setup, enter Builder in the Quick Find box, then select Process Builder.
          2. Next to the appropriate process, click Right caret icon to view all versions.
          3. For the version that you want to delete, click Delete.
If your process has only one version and you delete that version, the entire process is deleted.
          4. Click OK.
