Set and Edit Product Prices in Salesforce Classic
Track different types of prices for each of your products to fit the way you sell to different market segments and customers.
Required Editions

Set Standard Prices
- Select a product.
- On the product detail page, click Add from the Standard Price related list. If you’ve already added a standard price, click Edit to change it or Edit All to edit all standard prices in other currencies.
- Enter the standard price.
- Select Active to make this price available to products on opportunities, quotes, or other custom price books.

Save your changes.
The standard price is automatically associated with the product in your standard price book.
Set List Prices
- Select a product.
- On the product detail page, click Edit from the Price Books related list next to the custom price book that will contain the list price. If you haven’t already added the product to a custom price book, click Add to Price Book from the Price Books related list.
- Enter the list price. Alternatively, if both prices are the same, select Use Standard Price.
- Select Active to make this price available to products on opportunities or quotes.
- Save your changes.
Edit a Price
Click Edit next to a price book entry record in any of these
locations.
- The price book detail page, in the Products related list
- The product detail page, in the Standard Price related list
- The product detail page, in the Price Books related list
- The price book list view
