Agentforce Platform Enabled by Default Starting August 2026

In August 2026, we plan to turn on the Agentforce platform for all orgs with Agentforce access. New orgs will be enabled by default. We’ll remove the Agentforce toggle from the Agentforce Agents page in Setup, so you can build, test, and deploy agents with one less step. The platform is provisioned at no additional cost and there are no changes to billing.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 Editions. Setup for AI agents is available on the desktop site.

When: This change is planned by the end of August 2026. Check back for updates.

How: If Einstein generative AI is enabled in your org, admins will have immediate access to Agentforce Builder. To give other users access, assign the Manage AI Agents permission.
