Salesforce Billing contains the following fields frequently used in currency reports. By default, these fields have no default value and no functionality. We've provided them so that you can define base currencies on transactional records manually or through an integration. We recommend using a scheduled batch process that evaluates an internal or external currency table and populates these fields based on currency rates that match the date of the transaction.
| Field | Type | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Base Currency | Text |
|
| Base Currency FX Date | Date |
|
| Base Currency FX Rate | Decimal |
|
| Base Currency Amount | Currency |

To enable detailed currency reporting in Salesforce Billing, add these fields to the page layouts of the following objects.
