          Create a picklist of competitors that your users can attach to opportunities.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Salesforce Classic

          Available in: all editions in orgs activated before Summer ’09

          Available in: Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions in orgs activated after Summer ’09

          User Permissions Needed
          To define competitors: Customize Application
          1. From Setup, enter Competitors in the Quick Find box, then select Competitors.
          2. Click New to add competitor names to the list.
          3. Enter the name of the competitor.
          4. Optionally, check the default option to select this value on any new record when another value is not selected.
          5. Click Save.
