            Pricing Guidance Fields

            A pricing guidance record contains a description of the recommended discounts and other basic information, such as guidance tiers Each tier contains target, normal, and floor discount recommendations for quote lines that fall within the tier's quantity range. (Salesforce CPQ Managed Package)

            Required Editions

            Available in: Salesforce CPQ+ Summer ’19 and later
            Field Name API Name Data Type Definition
            Description SBQQ__Description__c Text Area (255) Reference text that describes this pricing guidance, viewable on the pricing guidance detail page to admins only. Use the Explanation field for messages that appear to sales reps.
            Active SBQQ__IsActive__c Checkbox Option that enables pricing guidance for an associated product. Inactive pricing guidance won't appear in the quote line editor.
            Unit SBQQ__Unit__c Picklist The unit of discount for this pricing guidance. Salesforce CPQ Summer ’19 supports only the Percentage value.
            Explanation SBQQ__Explanation__c Text Area (255) Provide sales reps with an explanation of this pricing guidance and recommendations for discounts to provide. They can view this explanation with the pricing guidance in the quote line editor.
            Type SBQQ__Type__c Picklist

            In Salesforce CPQ Summer ’19, the Type field supports only the Range value.

            Range: The guidance discounts using only the pricing guidance tier that applies to the quote line quantity.
            Include Prior Purchases SBQQ__IncludePriorPurchases__c Checkbox When setting the pricing guidance tier for a quote line, include product quantities that were sold earlier
