Automatically suggesting new contacts reduces manual data entry. This feature helps users expand their network by identifying potential contacts from email and event activity. It also ensures that new contacts are added to Salesforce with relevant information, thereby improving data quality. Furthermore, users can quickly add contacts to relevant records, such as accounts and opportunities.
Contact Suggestions on Seller Home
Einstein lists potential contacts from your email and event activity. You can add a suggested contact, see an activity timeline for context, or remove Einstein’s suggestion. Einstein Activity Capture must be turned on for Contact Suggestions to appear on the Seller Home page.
Potential Connections
The Potential Connections section is available in the Email Message record home page. When email messages go through email matching flows, unmatched email addresses in that email thread are identified as potential connections. You can add each possible connection as a new contact or lead to Salesforce directly from this section.
Potential connections of an email message are displayed even if Einstein Activity Capture isn't turned on.
